Frequently Asked Questions
General
What does this extension do?
Property Previewer helps you quickly view important property details while browsing listings on supported property websites. It displays a preview panel with key information like floor plans, availability dates, and price history, saving you from clicking back and forth between search results and detail pages.
Sign in for a free account to save properties across portals, track price changes since you saved, and hide listings you don't want to see again.
Which websites are supported?
The extension is active on:
- Rightmove
- Zoopla
- OnTheMarket
- OpenRent
- PrimeLocation
- PropertyPal
- PropertyNews
How do I use it?
- On Search Results Pages: As you scroll, the property at the top of the list is automatically highlighted, and the preview panel shows key details. You can also use keyboard shortcuts to navigate.
- On Property Detail Pages: The preview panel appears automatically, displaying all extracted details for that property.
Features & Tips
Can I customise the preview panel?
Yes!
- Position: You can move and resize the panel by dragging its edges or corners. It remembers its position.
- Minimise/Restore: Click the minimise icon or press
pto toggle the panel.

j/k: Next / previous property. -
p: Show or hide the preview panel. -
s: Save / unsave the current property. -
x: Hide the current property. -
n: Add or edit a note on the current property. -

What extra data does it show?
Besides the standard listing info, the panel provides:
- OCR Analysis: Automatically extracts room dimensions and total area from floor plans.

- Price History: Crowdsourced price history for the listing.
Saving & Account
How do I save a property?
Sign in (free) from the preview panel, then press s on
any listing or click the save button. Saved properties appear on the
Saved page, available across all seven supported portals.
Can I organise my saved properties?
Yes. Add saved properties to your own collections and tag each one with a status (New, Shortlisted, Viewing, Offered, Dismissed).
How do I add a note to a property?
Press n on any property page, or click the note icon
on the listing card or in the preview. Notes are personal and
private to you. They stay with the property even if you later
unsave it, so you don't lose your thinking when you change your
mind.
How does price-change tracking work?
When you save a property, we capture its price at that moment. The saved listing then shows the delta against the current price (for example, ↓ £15k since you saved). You can sort your saved list by biggest drop.
What do the Active / Quiet / Stale badges mean?
Each saved item shows an activity status so you can spot listings that may have been removed or sold without clicking through. It's based on how recently the listing has been seen and updated on the portal.
How do I hide a listing I don't want to see?
With a saved account, press x on a listing or use the
hide button in the preview panel. Hidden listings are filtered out
of search results on the supported portals.
Troubleshooting
Why is the preview not showing?
- Loading: It might take a moment to fetch the details.
- Unsupported Page: Ensure you are on a search results page or a property detail page.
- Site Changes: Property websites update commonly. If a preview stops working, please check for an extension update.

Do you share my data?
No. We do not share, sell, or rent any data to third parties. The anonymous property data is used solely to operate the Property Previewer features.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All communication with our backend services is encrypted using standard SSL/TLS protocols.
